Day Shift Position Summary A confidential government client in Dallas, TX is seeking a General Clerk II to support a professional office environment. This position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support, handling documents, maintaining records, performing data entry, and assisting with general office operations. The ideal candidate will have recent clerical or administrative support experience, strong attention to detail, professional communication skills, reliable attendance, and the ability to follow established processes and instructions. Candidates must be available to start at contract kickoff and work full-time for the duration of the 2,080-hour assignment. Key Responsibilities Perform general clerical and administrative office duties. Prepare, organize, scan, file, and maintain documents and records. Enter, update, and verify data accurately. Review documents for completeness and accuracy. Support daily office operations and administrative workflows. Respond to routine inquiries and communicate professionally with staff and stakeholders. Assist managers, teams, and office personnel with administrative tasks. Maintain organized files, records, and tracking systems. Follow established office procedures, instructions, and compliance requirements. Support additional administrative duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Recent clerical, administrative, or office support experience. Strong organization and attention to detail. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Experience handling documents, records, data entry, and general office support. Ability to work in a structured professional office environment. Reliable, responsive, and able to follow processes and instructions. Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Updated, submission-ready resume. Availability to start at contract kickoff. Full-time availability for a 2,080-hour assignment. Preferred Qualifications Prior government, legal, board, compliance, or professional office support experience. Experience supporting managers, teams, or office operations. Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Experience working with confidential or sensitive information. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer. Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. Ability to occasionally lift and move standard office materials. Comfortable working in a professional office environment. #IF123
