Irondale, AL Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Spreadsheets Basic math Moving Word embeddings Direct client contact Forklift Administrative experience Pallet wrapping Desktop applications Productivity software Pallet jack Material handling equipment operation Single-use wrapping method Full Job Description Purpose The Mail Acceptance Specialist contributes to client satisfaction and mail vendor relationships by ensuring all shipping and receiving within the HC3 warehouse is performed efficiently and on schedule. This role's focus on successful shipping and receiving within the warehouse ensures that production teams have ready access to the inventory they need, and completed products are delivered on time and in good condition. Responsibilities The responsibilities for this position include the following: Develop and maintain knowledge of USPS mailing standards/requirements, and all HC3 software applications used to manage mail. Reconcile job documents and close completed jobs in accounting system. Coordinate local USPS mailing, inspection, and acceptance by USPS personnel. Update and distribute mail reports as needed. Load and unload materials using pallet jacks and forklift. Competencies and Qualities Qualified candidates must have the following competencies and qualities: Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment. Able to interact with employees and clients at all levels. Attentive to details. Able to use pallet jacks, pallet wrapper, forklift (forklift training will be provided) Able to move rolling carts containing cartons of printed documents weighing up 600 lbs. Able to lift and move cartons of printed documents weighing up to 70 lbs. Able to lift and move USPS pallets weighing up to 25 lbs. Education, Experience, and Certifications High school diploma or equivalency Intermediate computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel) Basic math and accounting skills Administrative work experience Forklift certified; HC3 can certify internally if candidate not already certified Supervisory Responsibility While this position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, they will provide oversight for warehouse shipping and receiving. Work Environment Work will be performed in a production facility with heavy equipment and strict safety regulations. Travel This role requires no travel. Physical Demand This role will require standing for long periods of time, operating warehouse equipment to move heavy loads, and lifting up to 70 lbs. Position Type and Expected Hours This is an hourly position with normal working hours from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
