Mail Clerk

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to designated departments or individuals Prepare outgoing mail, including sorting, labeling, and affixing postage accurately Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to load, unload, and transport shipments safely Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods Maintain accurate records of all mail movements, shipments, and inventory using filing systems and digital tracking tools Load and unload items from trucks or storage areas, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage, organization, and documentation of materials Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution or related logistics roles Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory management and tracking Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and best practices Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in warehouse operations while contributing to a well-organized logistical environment.
