Electrical Pre-Fab Technician (1099 Contractor)

St. Petersburg, Palmetto, & Miami, FL DT Electric is seeking motivated, reliable Independent Contractors (1099) to assist with electrical pre-fabrication. If you are a hard worker who shows up on time and is ready to contribute to a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you. No prior experience is necessary.

Compensation & Schedule Rate:

$17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Hours:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Payment:

Bi-weekly Contract Type:

1099 Independent Contractor (No taxes withheld)

Key Requirements Punctuality:

Must be consistently on time for all shifts.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Eligibility:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Work Ethic:

Strong commitment to physical, "pre-fab" labor and high productivity. Responsibilities Working within our pre-fab divisions, you will help prepare for future projects across our service areas in St. Pete, Palmetto, and Miami. Important Information for Applicants Please note that this position is offered as a 1099 Independent Contractor role.

This means:

1. You are responsible for filing and paying your own self-employment and income taxes. 2. There are no traditional employee benefits provided (such as health insurance or 401k). 3. You will receive a 1099-NEC form at the end of the year for tax reporting purposes.
