Duties Safely load, unload, and transport packages using various vehicles such as box trucks or courier vans with manual transmissions. Drive along assigned rural routes, navigating different terrains and road conditions to ensure on-time deliveries. Load and secure packages in the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of heavy lifting and moving tasks. Deliver parcels directly to customers' doorsteps or designated drop-off points with professionalism and courtesy. Use handheld devices or route sheets to verify delivery information and obtain signatures when required. Assist with warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and organizing shipments using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and safety records in compliance with company policies. Experience Previous experience in customer service or courier roles is highly valued. Hands-on warehouse experience involving load & unload activities, forklift operation, or pallet jack usage is a plus. Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license, especially with box trucks or drivers, is preferred. Familiarity with route driving, heavy lifting, moving packages, and operating manual transmission vehicles enhances your effectiveness in this role. Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving safely and efficiently.
