Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Mail Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in Bossier City, LA. This role supports daily mailroom operations within a fast-paced healthcare services environment and is a great fit for someone who enjoys organized, repetitive work that keeps business operations running smoothly. The Mail Clerk will help ensure incoming and outgoing mail, documents, and correspondence are processed accurately and on time. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to build administrative and records management experience with a stable organization. Candidates who are dependable, organized, and comfortable working with basic computer systems can succeed in this role. Key Responsibilities
- Open, sort, scan, index, and distribute incoming mail and correspondence.
- Operate postage machines, folding machines, scanners, and related mailroom equipment.
- Prepare certified mail, create labels, and ensure outgoing mail is processed accurately.
- Deliver mail internally as needed while maintaining timely and professional service.
- Maintain accurate daily and weekly mail volume reports.
- Support document handling, filing, and records management processes as assigned. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$13.00 per hour.- Annual salary equivalent: $27,040 per year.
