Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Package Handler to join their mail processing team in Franklin, MA. Candidates must be comfortable working during early morning hours and capable of performing physically demanding tasks. This is a great opportunity to become part of a vital operation that ensures timely mail delivery and efficient logistics.
The Day-to-Day:
Receive incoming mail, bins, and parcels and sort them into trays for processing Review and verify dates, addresses, barcodes, and postage information on all outbound mail Inspect mail for signs of tampering, damage, or suspicious contents Categorize and label mail appropriately for accurate distribution Scan and log packages for tracking purposes and update mail database records accordingly
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Prior mailroom experience is preferred but not mandatory Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs (heavier lifting may be required with assistance) Familiarity with mail processing machines such as postage meters Basic computer proficiency, including
Microsoft Word and Excel Pay Rate:
$19.00 per hour
Schedule:
8:00 PM to 3:30 AM 3:00 AM to 11:00 AM 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (Flexible/When Needed)
