Job Description Record Center Staff- Surge Position Summary:

Warehouse work is expected to surge during the period of performance, due to construction of a new Building. Requirements of the move are within the essential duties of this job description. The duration of the move is expected to last 6 months starting Spring/Summer 2026 into Fall 2026.

Essential Duties:

Place barcodes on the new shelves in the new facility. Pull the boxes from the shelves in the old facility and place them on pallets for shipment to the new facility. Unpack the pallets at the new facility and load the boxes on the shelves in the new facility. Ensure there is a record of the new location of the boxes in the Government records management application tool.

TS/SCI FS/Lifestyle Polygraph Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma. Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to read and assimilate information rapidly and use it to make timely and accurate decisions. Ability to work effectively on a computer workstation. Reliability and dependability. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Comfortable with heights and ladders. Ability to use pallet jack Ability to use a barcode hand scanner. Ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time. Good interpersonal communications skills and the ability to work well as a team member. 0-2 years performing the duties of the position: Level A. 2-4 years performing the duties of the position: Level B. 4+ years performing the duties of the position: Level C.
