Job Summary We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate for a temporary-to-permanent opportunity in Southfield, MI. This role is ideal for someone with office support, mailroom, customer service, or administrative experience who enjoys staying organized, supporting internal teams, and providing a high level of service in a fast-paced professional environment. The Mailroom Associate will support daily mail, package, courier, print, scan, and administrative operations while serving as a key point of contact for employees and visitors. This position offers a steady Monday through Friday schedule, a team-oriented work environment, and the opportunity to build long-term stability with a company that values dependable service, professionalism, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for mailroom visitors, employees, and service requests while delivering excellent customer service.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, courier pickups, and deliveries according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate logs for mailroom activity, package tracking, shipping, receiving, and courier documentation.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and faxes in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide backup support for printing, copying, scanning, and document production requests.
- Perform light data entry, billing support, office supply assistance, and general administrative tasks as needed. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $18 to $18.50 per hour.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.- Employment type: Temporary to permanent contract opportunity.
