In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering mail, packages, and parcels to customers' doorsteps. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help ensure timely deliveries while providing friendly, professional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and make a positive impact in the neighborhoods we serve. Duties Safely load, unload, and organize packages and mail using appropriate equipment such as box trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary. Drive route vehicles with manual transmission or automatic as required, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses, ensuring accurate and timely delivery while providing excellent customer service. Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, managing heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Use route navigation tools to plan the most efficient delivery routes, optimizing time and fuel consumption. Maintain accurate delivery records, obtain signatures when required, and handle customer inquiries professionally. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs to ensure safe operation throughout the day. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving or courier services is highly preferred. Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform moving tasks safely. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards clients and community members. Prior experience in warehouse operations or delivery driving is advantageous. Ability to follow detailed route instructions and work independently in outdoor environments. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and familiarity with load & unload procedures are desirable.
