City Carrier Assistant (CCA)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages within designated routes. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. As a Mail Carrier, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their mail promptly and safely. Duties Drive along designated routes to deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses. Operate various vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while managing schedules effectively. Handle heavy lifting of packages and mail items, ensuring safe loading and unloading procedures. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from recipients. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups, ensuring all items are accounted for. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organizing mail for delivery. Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving or courier services is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with route driving and familiarity with local areas is an advantage. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus. Previous experience in warehouse settings is beneficial but not required. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
