Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and organize packages using equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies when necessary. Deliver mail and parcels to customers along assigned routes with precision and professionalism. Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and ensure timely completion of daily tasks. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing recipient inquiries and ensuring satisfaction during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to maintain safety standards. Adhere to safety standards in the workplace and while delivering mail. Skills Experience in delivery driving or courier services, with a strong focus on route driving preferred but not required. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and community members. Warehouse experience including load & unload operations, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like pallet jacks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; safe driving record preferred. Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy packages safely and efficiently. Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols for box trucks or similar vehicles. Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and route logistics effectively.
