Rural Carrier Associate

Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Deliver parcels along designated routes, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs while maintaining excellent customer service. Assist with warehouse tasks including inventory management, sorting packages, and preparing shipments for delivery. Perform manual lifting of packages weighing up to the specified limit, demonstrating strength and stamina throughout the shift. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation of manual transmission vehicles. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding route adjustments or delivery issues. Skills Proven experience in customer service, demonstrating professionalism and positive communication skills. Warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts. Commercial driving experience with a valid driver's license; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is highly desirable. Previous delivery driver or courier experience showcasing route driving skills and punctuality. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently. Strong driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices for drivers or similar classifications.
