Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mail Carrier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and timely delivery of mail and packages to designated routes. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions while ensuring the safe handling of mail. You will need to provide your own vehicle. Vehicle must be 120-150 square feet. So a SUV or minivan. Candidate must be willing to work Saturdays And after holidays. Responsibilities Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses according to an established route. Operate delivery vehicles, ensuring safe driving practices at all times. Load and unload mail from delivery vehicle. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to deliveries. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while on the road. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure reliability. Including sorting and organizing mail. Skills Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of navigation tools. Experience in delivery driving, particularly with manual transmission vehicles. Strong customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients. Capable of performing physical tasks associated with moving boxes and packages. Previous experience with FedEx, UPS, or postal mail service. or logistics environment is a plus. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
