• Job Summary
• The Mail Room Assistant supports daily mail room operations at the clients location. This role is responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and distributing mail and packages while maintaining an organized, efficient, and service-oriented mail room environment that supports building employees and business operations.

• Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive and process daily incoming mail and shipment deliveries.

Sort and distribute mail accurately and efficiently. Meter, prepare, and ship outgoing mail and packages. Assist employees within the building with mail room needs and inquiries. Support loading and unloading packages at the loading dock as needed. Monitor mail room operations to ensure timely processing and compliance. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety of the mail room. Ensure supplies are stocked and equipment is properly maintained.

• Required Skills
• Prior mail room and/or shipping/receiving experience. Ability to physically assist with lifting, loading, and moving packages. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable with good time management and efficiency.
