Duties:
  • Load and unload packages and mail onto delivery vehicles
  • Drive delivery vehicles to designated locations
  • Follow specific routes and schedules for efficient delivery
  • Ensure packages and mail are delivered accurately and on time
  • Collect payments for COD (Cash on Delivery) packages, if applicable
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Skills:
  • Experience driving manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to operate a forklift for loading and unloading purposes
  • Familiarity with refrigerated trailers for transporting temperature-sensitive items
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds)
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations for efficient package handling
  • Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus
  • Attention to detail to ensure accurate delivery of packages and mail Please note that this position may require working in various weather conditions and may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
