Job Description

Position Summary :
Processing incoming/outgoing mail & packages. Monitor window activity. This position is for afternoons Monday-Thursday, 12-4:30pm and Friday 12-3pm.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Receive mail and log receipt of packages at the Mail Center. Sort and distribute all mail and packages daily. Coordinate positive relationship with USPS, UPS and FedEx and any third-party handlers for outgoing mail. Supervise student workers. Prepare and process outgoing mail in cost-effective, timely manner. Adhere to USPS requirements for all first-class and bulk mail. Monitor window activity to distribute packages for student/staff/faculty. Oversee working operation of copier and postage machine. Arrange for service if necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Enrolled in a Master's Degree program at Ohio Dominican University. The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office suite and be able to generate reports and track statistics. Additionally, they must be able to support the mission and vision of Ohio Dominican University.
Educational Value :
Will develop written and oral communication skills through correspondence with staff, faculty, and students. Will develop leadership, mentoring, and management skills needed to support student workers. Will identify and apply appropriate ethical practices in decision making in accordance with policies and protocol.

Maximum of 18 credit hours per year.

$5000
