Scale House Attendant

Rutledge Excavating, Inc. is looking for a Scale House Attendant to join our team. This position is part-time to start, with the potential for full-time availability. Applicants must be available Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Actual assigned hours will fall within that timeframe, but availability during those hours is required.

Job duties include:

Weighing trucks using a computerized ticketing program Issuing invoices Receiving and recording payments Issuing customer statements Monitoring accounts receivable balances Making collection phone calls Maintaining a sign-in/sign-out log for incoming vendors, visitors, and others Announcing incoming trucks by radio to the loader operator Assisting with additional office duties as assigned, including data entry and construction administration support The selected applicant must maintain a Weighmaster's License (company will provide) Previous scale house experience and/or construction experience is preferred, but not required. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, organized, and has a positive attitude.
