Job Description
We are a small but dedicated personal injury law firm based in South Florida, committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients and guiding them through every step of their case. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mail Clerk to assist with handling incoming mail and supporting other key administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, comfortable with technology, and able to work independently while supporting a collaborative remote team environment. The Mail Clerk will assist the firm with the timely handling, processing, and organization of physical mail and important documents. This role involves regularly picking up mail from the firm's office location twice per week, scanning and uploading documents into our case management system, and ensuring mail is accurately routed to the appropriate team members. This position will also assist with occasional bank runs for check deposits and other light administrative support tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential legal and financial documents. This is a part-time independent contractor position with semi-flexible scheduling based on firm needs and mail volume.
Experience:
Previous administrative, clerical, office support, mail handling, records management, or customer service experience preferred. Experience scanning, organizing, and managing digital documents is a plus. Experience working in a professional office environment is preferred. Experience with Filevine or other case management systems is a bonus, but not required. Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and maintain automobile insurance.
