This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy active, hands-on work and can perform efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Position Summary As a Box Loader/Unloader, you will assist with the movement of freight by loading and unloading trailers while maintaining safety, accuracy, and productivity standards. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Loading Duties Load freight from conveyor belts into trailers by hand Scan and verify packages using handheld scanning devices Transport freight cages between work areas and staging locations Organize and secure freight to maximize trailer space and efficiency Unloading Duties Remove freight from inbound trailers and place it onto conveyor systems Scan and sort packages into assigned cages and destinations Maintain a steady pace while ensuring accuracy and safe work practices Pay & Earnings Performance-based compensation Paid by trailer and package volume handled Average earnings range from $16-$25 per hour High performers can earn $25-$35 per hour Greater productivity equals greater earning potential Schedule Weekend Night Shift Friday through Sunday 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Three 12-hour shifts per week Additional weekday hours may be available based on operational needs Qualifications Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 5-50 pounds Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods Reliable transportation required Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance Paid time off (PTO) Additional Information Full-time position On-site work location in West Jordan, Utah Relocation to the area is required before employment begins Freight Breakers LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and welcomes qualified applicants from all backgrounds, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
