Responsibilities Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload packages using forklifts or pallet jacks when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods. Deliver mail and packages along designated routes efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Verify recipient information, obtain signatures when required, and handle any delivery issues promptly. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, perform basic maintenance checks, and report any mechanical concerns. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and route activities to ensure accountability. Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting shipments, moving parcels within the facility, and supporting inventory management. Experience Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to lift heavy items safely and perform manual labor involving moving or heavy lifting tasks. Warehouse experience that includes load & unload operations or operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification preferred; experience with manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
