Duties Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver packages across assigned routes. Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items. Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load packages onto delivery vehicles accurately and securely, ensuring proper placement for safe transport. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses with professionalism and courtesy. Collect signatures or proof of delivery as required, maintaining accurate delivery records. Assist with warehouse activities such as moving inventory, organizing shipments, and maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Experience Prior delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or box truck operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Experience with warehouse tasks such as heavy lifting, moving items, or operating forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting heavy packages repeatedly throughout the day. Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safety protocols related to commercial vehicle operation. Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles and previous courier or delivery driver roles will set you apart.
