Expected Hours of Activity:
Monday 9am
- 3pm (6 hours) Tuesday 9am
- 3pm (6 hours) Wednesday 9am
- 3pm (6 hours) Thursday 9am
- 3pm (6 hours) Friday 9am
- 3pm (6 hours)
Note:
times can fluctuate to accommodate work-life balance. May grow to full time if scanning volume exists. The File Depot of Milwaukee is looking to fill entry-level positions in their growing West Allis operation. The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic, maintain a high degree of work ethic and be a tremendous force when representing the company in front of customers and prospective clients. Scanning Operations Prepare hard copy records for high-speed scanning operation Identify and remove staples, clips, post-it notes from hard copy records prior to scan Given various scanning equipment, digitize hard copy content into digital images as per customer request Given computer images of digital content, identify and correct images that do not comply with quality standards Post digital content onto cloud servers and other digital media
NOTE:
this position may also require support in other areas of the business, as needed to support client demand. This work may include, but is not limited to, the following: Warehouse Operations Assist with the data entry of new boxes into the Business Operations Center Assist with the location management of all boxes in the warehouse Pull boxes that have been requested by clients for return to client locations Refile boxes that have been returned from client locations Shred and bale paper product in queue to be shredded Manage internal process paperwork in accordance with company practices and standards Other duties, as defined by management Delivery Van Support Operations Load and unload boxes and shred bins from cargo vehicles, both on warehouse site and on customer property. Present positive and professional image to all clients and prospects in the performance of daily duties where direct customer contact is required. Position:
Lift and carry up to 40 lbs while in the process of performing key tasks throughout the warehouse and scan center Climb ladders and warehouse stairs up to 10 feet Possess basic to mid-level competency in computer operations and applications (MS Office) Operate basic warehouse equipment such as scissor lifts, fork lifts, and pallet jacks (or have a propensity for learning these tools) Must have a clean driving record, as well as clear a basic security screening assessment Candidates showing a propensity for higher education (either currently in a degree program, or recently completed) and military veterans shall be given priority consideration, and are strongly encouraged to apply.
