About the
Role:
Are you passionate about helping others and ensuring a welcoming experience? Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Front Desk Receptionist and be the first friendly face patients see when they walk through our doors. In this vital role, you'll help manage daily patient flow, schedule appointments, and provide top-notch customer service to every patient and visitor.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients and visitors with professionalism and care Maintain patient flow in the waiting area to ensure timely service Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system efficiently Answer incoming calls, direct to the appropriate departments, or take messages Verify patient insurance and collect co-pays and required documentation Accurately update patient sign-in logs and post payments into the system Balance and reconcile daily revenue receipts and reports Assist with correspondence, memos, and other clerical tasks Handle mail distribution and internal communications Travel between clinical sites when necessary Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in a medical or office setting preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with patient scheduling and insurance verification a plus Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor
