Job Description
Order Taker Duties:
- Answer incoming phone calls and take customer orders
- Enter orders accurately into the POS system (Point of Sale)
- Utilize Aloha POS system to process transactions and payments
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guest satisfaction
- Assist with guest inquiries, provide information, and address concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to order taking and customer service
Skills:
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Experience using a POS system, preferably Aloha POS
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive guest relations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and processing
