May 26, 2026 Overview Riverside Baptist Church is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of our church. This position plays a vital role in creating a warm, Christ-centered environment for visitors, members, and staff. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and passionate about serving others with kindness and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist all visitors, members, and guests in a warm and welcoming manner Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area Assist church staff with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and scheduling Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries Help coordinate communication between church departments when needed Provide general information about church programs, events, and ministries Support a positive and respectful environment aligned with church values Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Friendly, approachable, and service-oriented attitude Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, scheduling tools) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment Reliable, punctual, and professional Previous receptionist or administrative experience preferred but not required Preferred Qualities A heart for ministry and serving others Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Comfortable working in a faith-based environment and supporting the mission of the church Work Environment Welcoming, team-oriented church setting Opportunity to serve and connect with the community daily Additional Information There is potential for additional hours on Fridays for candidates who are interested and available
