Overview:

Join our team as a Front Desk Receptionist. We are seeking a friendly, organized Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our optometry office. This role manages patient scheduling, check-in/check-out, and ensures a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient. Key responsibilities, but not limited to: Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out Schedule and confirm appointments Verify insurance and collect copays/payments Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation ensuring all forms/paperwork is completed accurately Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and staff The ability to use office equipment such as: multi-line phone, fax/copy machine, scanner and credit card machine.

Skills Needed:

Pleasant demeaner and professional appearance Self-starter, does not need constant supervision to complete assigned tasks Dependable Ability to multi-task Knowledge of vision and medical insurance Must enjoy working with public and children
