We are proud to provide high-quality veterinary care with a strong emphasis on compassion, communication, and exceptional client service. As a long-standing hospital with a loyal and diverse clientele, we are currently seeking an Experienced Veterinary Client Care Representative (CCR) to join our dedicated team. Position Overview The Client Care Representative (CCR) is the first point of contact for our veterinary hospital, both in person and over the phone. This role is essential in creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience for every client and patient. The CCR is responsible for greeting clients, managing phone communications, scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and supporting the overall flow of the front desk. A successful CCR remains calm under pressure, confidently handles challenging client interactions, and helps build long-term client trust and relationships. What You'll Do Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism Answer multi-line phones and manage scheduling efficiently Check patients in/out and maintain accurate medical records Communicate estimates, invoices, and treatment plans clearly Process payments and handle basic financial transactions Support client education on basic pet care and services Keep front desk operations organized and running smoothly Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure efficient patient flow
What We're Looking For Required:
Strong customer service or front desk experience Basic computer skills (typing, email, Word, scheduling systems) Strong communication and phone etiquette Ability to stay organized in a busy environment Preferred (but not required): Veterinary or medical office experience Experience in a fast-paced multi-line phone setting The Right Fit Will Be Someone Who… Is friendly, professional, and calm under pressure Enjoys working with both people and animals Can multitask without losing attention to detail Works well in a team-focused environment Communicates clearly and respectfully in all situations Work Environment Fast-paced veterinary hospital setting Frequent interaction with pets and pet owners Team-oriented culture with support from staff and management Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Ability to sit/stand for extended periods Comfort working in an active clinical environment Schedule 10-hour shifts Day shifts Monday-Friday Rotating weekends / weekends as needed Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Employee discounts Flexible scheduling Uniform allowance
