Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front desk operations in Tucson, Arizona. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing high-volume phone traffic, and delivering attentive service to visitors and callers. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for the office while helping maintain smooth communication and an organized reception area.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and ensure each guest is directed promptly to the appropriate person or department.
- Operate a multi-line phone system efficiently, handling incoming calls with accuracy and a courteous approach.
- Route calls, take clear messages, and provide basic information to callers while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Support front desk activities by monitoring the reception area and helping keep the workspace orderly and presentable.
- Respond to general inquiries from employees, clients, and visitors in a helpful and attentive manner.
- Coordinate communication between internal teams and external contacts to help daily office operations run smoothly. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Ability to manage a multi-line switchboard or high-volume inbound phone environment.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a welcoming and detail-focused phone manner.
- Proven customer service skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of individuals.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in handling messages and front desk tasks.
- Dependable work style with the ability to remain composed while managing multiple priorities.
