Security Guard Receptionist

Job Summary Seeking a professional, reliable, and customer oriented Security Guard to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for our staff, customers, and community. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, access control, and prompt response to security incidents. You are to ensure the security and efficient reception of customers, while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Duties Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches. Check customers in by verifying valid identification for all customers. Answer incoming calls, greet callers professionally and address their inquiries. Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, disturbances, or unlawful activity Respond quickly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious behavior, coordinating with local authorities when necessary. Enforce safety policies and procedures consistently across all areas of the facility. Collaborate with store management and staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Maintain reception area cleanliness. Qualifications Valid California Guard Card (required) Must be at least 21 years old Previous security experience or related fields such as law enforcement or safety management is preferred. Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Knowledge of security systems, surveillance, computer technologies, and emergency response protocols. From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 22.0 - 37.0 per week
