Job Description
Description We are looking for a dependable Receptionist to support daily front-desk operations and coordinate transportation scheduling. This position is ideal for someone who can manage a busy phone line environment, maintain accurate dispatch records, and keep appointment and route details organized. The right candidate will be comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel while providing clear communication and timely coordination between drivers, riders, and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pick-up and drop-off assignments by matching drivers and riders with scheduled client locations.
- Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system and respond to inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Maintain organized schedules and update client location details using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Monitor active routes and record the status of drivers, riders, and client appointments throughout the day.
- Communicate schedule changes or service updates promptly to the appropriate parties.
- Support front-desk operations by handling general receptionist tasks and ensuring smooth daily office flow. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a receptionist, dispatch, or similar administrative support role.
- Ability to manage a multi-line phone system in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for scheduling and recordkeeping.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail when tracking multiple assignments.
- Clear verbal communication skills and a detail-focused phone presence.
- Ability to coordinate several moving parts while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.
