Job Description

Institutes of Health is a leading multidisciplinary healthcare organization specializing in chronic pain, PTSD, brain injury rehabilitation, and opioid use reduction. Our collaborative and compassionate team is committed to improving lives. With successful locations in San Diego, Riverside, and El Centro, we're excited to open our brand new clinic in Burbank — and we're looking for an experienced Front Desk Receptionist to help us build a strong foundation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greets patients professionally both in person and on the phone. Answers incoming calls and transfer to appropriate person. Verifying that all forms are completed prior to seeing patients. Updates and verifies patient information in our EMR system. Contacting patients to schedule follow up or missed appointments. Confirms appointments for all providers a day prior. Arranging patient transportation and interpreters if needed. Counsels patients on physician orders. Ensures provider schedules are efficient. Scanning & routing incoming mail Assisting with day to day operations within the facility Provides support to coworkers. To be cross-trained and back up to co-workers.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Strong communication skills, written and verbal Exceptional attention to detail Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment Bilingual in English and Spanish Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
Team player Personable Consistently positive attitude Worker's Compensation experience a plus
