Core Skills & Qualifications Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Strong knowledge of medical terminology Exceptional customer service skills Accurate data entry and documentation abilities Experience with patient scheduling and appointment coordination Nice‑to‑Have / Preferred Background Previous healthcare or medical office experience Customer service-oriented mindset Experience in a high‑volume customer service call center Familiarity with insurance verification and authorizations (preferred) Job Summary The Call Center Representative serves as a primary point of contact for patients, providing professional and compassionate support via inbound calls. This role is responsible for assisting patients with care-related inquiries, scheduling appointments, and supporting authorization processes while ensuring accurate documentation and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Handle high‑volume inbound patient calls in a fast‑paced healthcare call center environment Assist patients with questions regarding care, referrals, and authorization status Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments accurately Enter and update patient information in electronic systems with a high level of accuracy Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating with patients and care teams Deliver a customer‑focused, empathetic experience while maintaining professionalism Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of patient needs Ideal Candidate Profile Patient‑focused, empathetic communicator with strong problem‑solving skills Comfortable managing multiple tasks and systems simultaneously Detail‑oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high‑volume setting Reliable, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent patient service Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burbank, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
