Must be available to work weekends Position Summary Camarillo Healthcare Center is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-service-driven Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and staff. In a fast-paced skilled nursing facility, this role is essential in creating a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations, including high-volume phone systems and administrative support. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist residents, visitors, vendors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner Operate a multi-line phone system, including answering, holding, transferring, and directing calls accurately and efficiently Manage multiple phone lines simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail Take and relay messages promptly and accurately to appropriate departments or personnel Provide general information regarding the facility, services, and resident inquiries (while maintaining confidentiality) Maintain front desk organization, ensuring a clean, secure, and welcoming reception area Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, sorting mail, and handling deliveries Monitor visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures and adhere to facility security protocols Support nursing and administrative teams with clerical duties as needed Respond to emergencies by following proper communication protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous receptionist, front desk, or customer service experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus) Experience working with multi-line phone systems strongly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email systems, etc.) Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient under pressure
