Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing front desk responsibilities, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting office management tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in office software, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet visitors and clients at the front desk with professionalism and courtesy Assist customers in the showroom by introducing products, explaining options, and directing them to appropriate sales or design staff Provide customer support via phone, email, and in person, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and showroom consultations Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other office management software Support office management activities such as supply ordering and organization of files Handle clerical duties including typing correspondence, managing mail, and maintaining office supplies Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom and office environment Qualifications Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles; previous experience in a home improvement showroom or design firm is a plus Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and data entry skills Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail with proofreading and data accuracy capabilities Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism under pressure Familiarity with office management procedures including filing systems, calendar management, and bookkeeping basics Experience in construction, design, flooring, cabinetry, or home services is a plus Why Join Us Stable, growing company with a collaborative team Client-facing role with variety and responsibility Opportunity to grow into operations or sales support roles Opportunity to earn commissions This position offers an engaging work environment where organizational skills and customer service excellence are valued.
