This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both people and pets, and is looking to grow within a supportive, fast-paced veterinary environment. As the first point of contact for our clients, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while ensuring smooth daily operations at our 10-doctor practice, open 7 days a week. What We're Looking For A genuine love for animals and compassion for their care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent customer service abilities A team-oriented mindset Previous reception and/or veterinary experience preferred Key Responsibilities Greet and assist all clients in a friendly and professional manner Answer and manage incoming phone calls Check clients in and out for appointments and boarding services Schedule appointments and boarding reservations Maintain accurate client, pet, and vaccination records Create and manage customer accounts in our software system Monitor and maintain the front lobby area Complete daily checklists and support overall hospital operations Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the hospital and pet resort (inside and outside) Be punctual and prepared for scheduled shifts Provide shift coverage when needed Uphold a professional attitude at all times

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of receptionist and/or veterinary experience (preferred) Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours) Availability to work full-time, including weekends Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Additional Information This is a full-time position with opportunities for long-term growth All employees must pass a pre-employment drug screening
