Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic dental call center team, where your enthusiasm and communication skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives! As a dental call center representative, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients seeking dental care, providing exceptional customer service and support. Your energetic approach will help coordinate appointments, answer inquiries, and ensure a smooth experience for every patient. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a positive impact on oral health. Responsibilities Answer incoming calls promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist patients with appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently. Provide clear information about dental services, insurance policies, and office procedures using strong communication skills. Collect and verify patient data accurately through data entry into the system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Use dental terminology appropriately when discussing dental procedures or patient concerns to ensure clarity. Maintain detailed records of patient interactions and update appointment calendars regularly. Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate patient flow and address urgent inquiries or issues as they arise. Building a schedule and making recalls as well as reaching out to new patients Qualifications Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and familiarity with healthcare management software like Practice Web. Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology related to dentistry is beneficial but can be learned on the job. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Analysis skills to assess caller needs quickly and provide appropriate solutions or escalate as necessary.
