Overview We are seeking a professional and personable Front Office Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and strong organizational abilities. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple responsibilities efficiently while providing outstanding customer service. The Front Office Receptionist will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling multi-line phone systems, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

$17.00 - $25.00 per hour Job description: Front office receptionist needed for a busy dermatology practice in Crescent City, CA. The candidate will be responsible for patient check-in and check-out. Their duties include but are not limited to data entry, scheduling and answering of multi-line telephones. The individual must be detailed oriented, team oriented and have excellent computer and people skills with the ability to multitask. This is a full time position and starts right away. Experience with EMR preferred.

In person Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization. Answer and direct calls using multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, adhering to proper phone etiquette. Manage appointment scheduling and calendar management for staff and executives using various digital tools. Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management software. Handle incoming correspondence, emails, and inquiries efficiently while providing excellent customer support. Assist with clerical tasks such as proofreading documents, managing office supplies, and organizing files to ensure operational efficiency. Support bookkeeping activities including basic bookkeeping tasks and data entry using QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure the office environment is welcoming and professional at all times. Requirements Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data entry skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on phone etiquette and customer service excellence.. Experience with multi-line phone systems, calendar management, and clerical duties such as proofreading and filing is essential. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times.
