The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage multi-line phone systems, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic calendar efficiently. Verify insurance information and perform insurance verification for patient visits. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for each patient. Provide administrative support including filing, typing, and managing correspondence. Handle patient inquiries regarding services, procedures, and office policies effectively. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth operations within the clinic environment. Experience Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is essential. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Strong computer skills are required. Experience with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and handling patient records is beneficial.
