Duties are to greet patients, set appointments, collect payments at the front desk, ready treatment cards, file records, and back-up the billing department. Electronic appointment book is being used so computer knowledge is expected but can be trained. Work hours are Mon, Wed, Fri 8:45 to 1:00 and 2:45 to 6:30; Tues and Thurs are 4-6 hour workdays and are flexible hours on those days. Total weekly hours are approximately 36-38 hours per week . Past experience in chiropractic as a receptionist or a patient is also a plus . The office is in Fair Oaks, so a commute of fewer than 5 miles is suggested . The office gets busy so keeping calm when all is going crazy around you will be appreciated. The salary is based on experience in the chiropractic field and/or when proficiency is shown. The current receptionist is moving to the billing department and she is willing to train. Great patients and great staff make for a pleasant work setting.
