Our team prioritizes patient care, collaboration, and long-term community relationships. We are seeking a strong, positive, and motivated ER Receptionist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in bridging communication between clients and our medical team. You are the first point of contact and set the tone for the entire client experience while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and empathy in every interaction. This is not a routine front desk position. Emergency medicine is fast-paced, unpredictable, and emotionally charged. We are looking for someone who thrives in that environment and can remain professional, kind, and composed under pressure. Responsibilities Welcome and support clients with compassion and professionalism Accurately collect patient intake information and obtain treatment authorizations Communicate clearly and efficiently with doctors and technicians Discuss and investigate payment options Answer client questions and concerns with empathy Maintain accurate documentation using practice management software (Cornerstone preferred) Qualifications Demonstrated ability to recognize and appropriately prioritize emergent and critical cases (ER triage knowledge required) Superior customer service and communication skills Calm, confident demeanor in high-stress situations Ability to multitask in a fast-paced emergency environment Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred 1-2 years experience in veterinary reception or technician role preferred Familiarity with practice management software (Cornerstone preferred)

Compensation Pay Range:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Compensation is based on experience, skill set, and emergency veterinary background. Bilingual differential available for applicants who demonstrate professional-level Spanish proficiency.
