Receptionist/Office Assistant

Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and professional Receptionist/Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients with a friendly and professional demeanor. Manage incoming calls and emails, ensuring effective phone etiquette at all times. Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for team members, demonstrating excellent calendar management skills. Perform proofreading of documents to ensure accuracy and professionalism. Organize and file documents systematically for easy retrieval. Verify insurance information Efficient scheduling Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks as needed. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area. Support other administrative tasks as required to enhance office efficiency. Experience Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Google Suite applications is essential; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent organizational skills to maintain orderly files and documentation. Ability to type efficiently while maintaining accuracy in all communications.
