Job Description
Director of Lasting Impressions & Insurance Guru Caring Tree Children's Dentistry is looking for a scheduling sage, patient whisperer, insurance & numbers ninja, and money bringer-inner. We already have a fabulous team of awesome staff to back you up with amazing, friendly and caring service. We need someone to join Leslie in our reception area to continue offering the best service to our patient families. Also, since none of us are volunteers (though we love what we do), we'd need you to collect money from patients and Big Insurance. So, if you can: have extended conversations with toddlers love working with numbers more than eating ice cream and cookies communicate without noticeable sarcasm or judgment, but plenty of grace speak and understand insurance find holes in calendars when no holes exist, then fill those holes learn the favorite snack food of each member of your team, I'm pretzels help explain recommended treatment plans and estimated costs to parents be nice click the right keyboard keys at least 95% of the time, and spell-check the other 5% admit what you don't know and find answers when you can We work at a Pediatric Dentist's office because we think kids are some of the coolest people around and they make us giggle, cry and laugh and we want them to have healthy, happy smiles. If you want that too...send us a resume and cover letter. Some practical stuff : We work with Open Dental, Modento, and the Google Drive Suite. We are a dental office, so it'd also be helpful if you knew more about teeth than where they're located. More specifically, we have a preference for someone who has at least 2 years experience in a Dental office as well as 2 years experience with Dental Insurance billing. However, and we mean this, we are really looking for the person who best fits with our team AND is willing and able to learn.
