Job Summary We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist for a full-time temporary opportunity in Livermore, CA . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the first point of contact, supporting an administrative office, and helping the public receive accurate information and courteous service. The Receptionist will support a public sector office environment where professionalism, confidentiality, teamwork, and service are essential. This position offers the opportunity to work with supportive leadership, collaborate with administrative and housing operations staff, and contribute to an organization that serves the local community. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. Key Responsibilities
- Answer and route multi-line phone calls, take messages, transfer calls, and provide routine information to callers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greet visitors, determine the nature of their business, maintain visitor logs, follow security and access procedures, and notify appropriate staff.
- Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming mail, faxes, internal documents, and other communications.
- Prepare, type, format, proofread, and revise correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, and other office materials.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive documents, including personnel, financial, legal, and agency-related materials.
- Provide administrative support for events, resident engagement efforts, flyers, email communications, and setup or teardown of event spaces as needed. Compensation and Benefits
