Front Desk Receptionist Strides Riding Academy, LLC Petaluma, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $26 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Phone reception Attention to detail Full Job Description Front Desk Receptionist Strides Riding Academy is looking for a Front Desk Receptionist to be the connective tissue of the Petaluma location for our Horse Riding Academy Onsite position at our Petaluma location. This is a high-trust, high-visibility role. You'll be the first voice our clients hear, the person keeping schedules running, and the one who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. This role requires ownership not just box checking. ─────────────────────
ABOUT STRIDES
Strides Riding Academy is a growing equestrian program with a reputation for exceptional instruction and a tight-knit client community. As we expand, we need someone who takes genuine ownership of the client experience — from first inquiry to hundredth lesson. ───────────────────── ✅
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Client relations & communication First point of contact for riding families, students, and leasers Handle inquiries, calls, and texts with warmth and professionalism Navigate complaints and conflicts — and resolve them Send reminders, policy communications, and milestone acknowledgments Scheduling & onboarding Schedule new riders and manage lesson changes and makeups Own new client onboarding: contracts, waivers, liability tracking Maintain the client portal and coordinate changes with instructors Billing & administration Process monthly invoicing and follow up on overdue accounts Maintain client records and keep office operations running smoothly Marketing & community Create and publish social content that reflects the Strides brand Highlight rider achievements and community moments ─────────────────────
WHO YOU ARE
You don't need a lot of hand-holding. When something isn't working, you figure out why and fix it. You're warm without being a pushover, organized without being rigid, and calm when things get busy. Experience in customer service, client relations, or office administration Clear, professional communicator — written and verbal Comfortable with basic billing and accounts receivable Social-media capable with an eye for good content Detail-oriented and able to juggle priorities without dropping the ball A love for horses or equestrian culture is a strong plus ─────────────────────
