This vital role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing appointment scheduling, and supporting veterinary staff with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong animal handling skills, veterinary terminology knowledge, and experience in pet care and animal restraint. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment committed to animal health and well-being. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently Collect medical payments and process billing accurately Answer phone calls, respond to client inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories in the database Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or procedures Support kennel operations and animal husbandry tasks as needed Handle laboratory sample collection and processing when required Assist with pet grooming, pet care education, and basic dog training activities Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and exam rooms Requirements Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal care settings preferred, including kennel experience and animal husbandry skills Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures, animal anatomy, aseptic techniques, and veterinary terminology is highly desirable Experience with laboratory procedures, animal catheterization, and pet grooming is a plus Strong animal handling skills including dog handling, animal restraint, and pet care techniques Ability to perform medical collections accurately and efficiently Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards clients and animals Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic proficiency with veterinary software systems is preferred Must be reliable, organized, and able to multitask effectively This role is essential for ensuring smooth clinic operations while providing compassionate support to our clients and their pets.
