POSITION SUMMARY
As a Receptionist, you will serve as the welcoming face of the community by greeting and directing visitors, answering telephone and in-person inquiries, screening guests, and managing mail and parcel deliveries. This role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth daily operations while creating a positive first impression for residents, families, and guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer all phone calls promptly and connect callers to appropriate residents or staff members. Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors entering the community. Screen and verify all visitors to ensure community safety and security. Serve as liaison between parking attendants, staff, visitors, and Plant Operations. Act as liaison with Fire and Police Departments and internal departments during emergencies. Coordinate staff and security responses to elopement or Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) alarms. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels, including certified and registered mail. Maintain the community's switchboard and communication log. Perform other duties as assigned to support operations and resident satisfaction.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of college-level business courses preferred. Associate degree in business or related field strongly preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of administrative or receptionist experience. One (1) year of experience operating multi-line phone systems and hand-held radios. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, customer-focused demeanor. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with residents, visitors, and team members. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone. Ability to occasionally move throughout the community to coordinate operations or Our investment in you.
