Receptionist FT/PT

Major Duties and Responsibilities Manage hectic workload while maintaining a friendly and personal demeanor Handle potentially delicate situations such as upset or emotional clients or collecting payment Maintain accurate patient records and be able to properly maintain files Ability to self-start during times when the office is slow Ability to remain flexible due to the somewhat unpredictable nature of job Computer experience is desired, but training will be provided for the computer system used at the office Type at least 45 WPM, familiarity with a keyboard Good vocabulary, grammar usage, accurate spelling Reliability and punctuality Good people skills and ability to get along with people of all backgrounds, patience with people and animals Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude •We have part-time and full-time positions available Experience, Education, and/or Training High school education required 1 to 2 years reception experience required Experience in a veterinary hospital or setting preferred Salary and Benefits $19 -$24/hour depending on experience and skill PTO (accrual) in addition to CA Sick Time Medical, dental, vision coverage for full-time employees 401K for full-time employees Discounted Veterinary Services
