The Front Desk Associate will be a responsible, detail oriented, independent problem solver who plays a critical role in our operations. This friendly person will be a strong communicator, providing high quality and accurate customer service.
Requirements:
- Greet drivers and customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Provide accurate information about services, pricing, and wait times.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby area, break room, bathrooms, and offices.
- Coordinate with wash bay team and management to communicate customer needs, special services, or issues.
- Ensure that trucks are routed to the correct wash bay in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Promote a positive brand image and support an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensure high standards of customer service, resolving customer questions quickly and professionally.
Responsibilities:
- Must have the ability to prioritize tasks, maintain an organized business, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Display excellent communication skills, customer service, and problem-solving skills on a continual basis.
- Must keep the front desk, lobby area, break room, bathrooms, and office area of truck wash clean.
- Maintains open, clear and timely communication with owners and management.
- Represents the company in a professional manner at all times, on or off truck wash property.
- Consistently arrives to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift and reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to talk or hear, sometimes in a loud environment.
- Occasionally required to lift heavy weight (25 pounds or greater) above shoulder height or move heavy weights (50 pounds or greater) along ground.
- Maintain an upright standing position with a moderate level of physical activity in excess of 8 hours.
- Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination required.
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust or focus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED or other equivalent in technical training required.
- One year of previous employment in a fast-paced front office setting required.
- Intermediate knowledge of the use of tablets and PC hardware and software required. Ability to learn and use computer software in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and other software pertinent to job.
- Basic understanding of networking hardware and reset procedures preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Previous experience with car wash, trucking, and/or automotive trades preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including Saturday's.
