Job Description

Overview Join our physical therapy office as a Receptionist/PT Tech, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and supporting clinical operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine administrative excellence with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will be the welcoming face for patients, ensuring smooth intake processes, and assisting with essential clinical tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors. Duties Greet patients on arrival, facilitate paperwork, copy insurance cards, ensure completion of kiosk questionnaire In WebPT EHR, duties include: update records, verify referrals, schedule Initial and follow up appointments, manage the waitlist, post payments and run reports. For all clients, verify insurance authorizations for commercial insurance, Medicare, Veterans Affairs (VA) and Workmen's Comp Provide patients with Electronic Stimulation, or E-Stim. Uphold infection control protocols and safety standards, including daily laundry. Keep office clean including trash removal, vacuuming, surface cleaning, etc. Qualifications Prior experience in outpatient clinic settings is highly preferred. Willing to train the right candidate. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology and coding to support clinical tasks Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or orthopedic patients Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with patients, families and external providers Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
